What are Tops Frames?

Add personality to your Pair with hundreds of swappable Top Frames that instantly snap onto your Base Frame. We have tops in unique patterns, bold colors, Sun Tops, and classics!

How Do Top Frames Attach to Base Frames?

The magic is in the magnets. Two invisible, ultra-lightweight magnets (we’re talking < 1 gram), cover the top left and right corners of the frames, firmly attaching the top frame.

What Are Top Frames Made Out Of?

How Thick Are Top Frames?

2mm. Our goal is to have our Pair Family seeing 20–20, so our Tops will not obstruct your vision.

How Heavy is a Top Frame?

The weight of a single Top Frame ranges from 2.6 to 3.5 grams, depending on the model. That’s lighter than a teaspoon of sugar! Our Sun Tops will typically add an additional 2–3 grams due to their lenses.

"I like the Hadley base frames. They’re very light and I get a lot of compliments. I love the convenience of the sun toppers. My eyes are really sensitive to the sun and it’s nice not having to change the whole pair of glasses going in and out of doors. "The glasses are great and I really like having the tops with the polarized lenses. The experience with Pair has been awesome. If you have previously had progressive lenses, then I recommend you get them again. I had progressive lenses in my last glasses and I didn't realize how much I depended on them. Great shape, bad temple arm covers

"This is a MUCH better fit for me than the Breda. If you prefer metal frames, I highly recommend this shape. Get the silver so you can wear it with light colored or crystal gradient toppers. The only problem is the hard temple arm covers are SUPER uncomfortable! I'm gonna go back to America's Best and have the store switch them with soft ones as soon as I can."

"I'm new to Pair Eyewear. Took about 3 weeks from the time I ordered to get them. Worth the wait. Fit & Look is fantastic! Already have purchased nine clear lens frames, and 7 sunglass frames. When ordering additional frame tops it takes about 2 weeks before they arrive. Feel like I have sixteen new pairs of glasses. If you have to wear glasses you might as well style with them :-)"
