Add personality to your Pair with hundreds of swappable Top Frames that instantly snap onto your Base Frame. We have tops in unique patterns, bold colors, Sun Tops, and classics!

How Do Top Frames Attach to Base Frames?

The magic is in the magnets. Two invisible, ultra-lightweight magnets (we’re talking < 1 gram), cover the top left and right corners of the frames, firmly attaching the top frame.

What Are Top Frames Made Out Of?

Durable, injected-molded plastic.

How Thick Are Top Frames?

2mm. Our goal is to have our Pair Family seeing 20–20, so our Tops will not obstruct your vision.

How Heavy is a Top Frame?

The weight of a single Top Frame ranges from 2.6 to 3.5 grams, depending on the model. That’s lighter than a teaspoon of sugar! Our Sun Tops will typically add an additional 2–3 grams due to their lenses.

Shades love / Pair increase - don’t love

"Love the shades. Luckily I purchased them right before Pair jacked up the prices and now charge a ridiculous amount for non-prescription sunglass lenses. Now that they are $99, in addition to the frame for non prescription, I won’t purchase sunshades again. It is understandable for the cost when a prescription is added, but plain non-script lenses should not cost $99 plus a frame."

"I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience has been utterly the worst. The toppers don’t stay connected to the base frames, costumer service is almost non existent. 10/10 WOULD NOT recommend. I should have got them from Zenni, giving pair eyewear a chance was my big mistake."
