What are Tops Frames?

Add personality to your Pair with hundreds of swappable Top Frames that instantly snap onto your Base Frame. We have tops in unique patterns, bold colors, Sun Tops, and classics!

How Do Top Frames Attach to Base Frames?

The magic is in the magnets. Two invisible, ultra-lightweight magnets (we’re talking < 1 gram), cover the top left and right corners of the frames, firmly attaching the top frame.

What Are Top Frames Made Out Of?

How Thick Are Top Frames?

2mm. Our goal is to have our Pair Family seeing 20–20, so our Tops will not obstruct your vision.

How Heavy is a Top Frame?

The weight of a single Top Frame ranges from 2.6 to 3.5 grams, depending on the model. That’s lighter than a teaspoon of sugar! Our Sun Tops will typically add an additional 2–3 grams due to their lenses.

My eyes are really sensitive to the sun and it’s nice not having to change the whole pair of glasses going in and out of doors. Great shape, bad temple arm covers

"This is a MUCH better fit for me than the Breda. If you prefer metal frames, I highly recommend this shape. Get the silver so you can wear it with light colored or crystal gradient toppers. The only problem is the hard temple arm covers are SUPER uncomfortable! I'm gonna go back to America's Best and have the store switch them with soft ones as soon as I can."

"I'm new to Pair Eyewear. Took about 3 weeks from the time I ordered to get them. Worth the wait. Fit & Look is fantastic! Already have purchased nine clear lens frames, and 7 sunglass frames. When ordering additional frame tops it takes about 2 weeks before they arrive. Feel like I have sixteen new pairs of glasses. If you have to wear glasses you might as well style with them :-)"

Hassle

"Extreme hassle to fo this once you send them everything they then use AI to try to get you to spend more then what the prescription said it ended up being delayed over a week to the point i had to tell them if this is gonna continue being such a hassle. I'm going to go elsewhere to get the glasses. The first time I used it you sent in the prescription. You took the picture all set this time. I had to email with multiple people. They kept trying to get me to buy other stuff. That was not even attached to my prescription. And then when I asked them if this was what I needed, they said yes, then they looked at a prescription and told me, I needed a new prescription to do what they said. So I actually didn't need it , their AI is just trying to get you to spend more money go elsewhere"

"So my first pair I couldn’t see out of, my prescription didn’t have all the information needed. Sent them back, got the correct info and they arrived. And they were perfect!!!!
